The Sociedad Cooperativa Andaluza Oleícola Valdepeñas de Jaén is located at the entrance to the municipality, it was born in November 2010, as a result of a merger. It has extensive experience in the production of extra virgin olive oil and packaging. With an average production of nine million tons of olives, of which two million tons of oil are obtained. Oleícola Valdepeñas de Jaén has a storage capacity of up to 1,800.00 tons of oil. The cooperative that is committed to a sustainable and respectful society with the environment, has a composting plant for the manufacture of organic fertilizer. And in the field of renewable energy, it produces biomass of plant origin obtained from the pit of olives. It also has a packaging line, where it packages the oil produced with its own brand, Chircales.
